ABOUT KAYLEN

       I have been an artist and musician since before I can remember. Learning how to practice classical music taught me invaluable skills I wouldn't trade for the world. In my free time I play the violin, fence, paint, and enjoy nature. I am passionate about preserving the environments we have and restoring the ones we lost. I recently joined the National Wildlife Federation and began my passion project to diversify NYC's tree population. If you didn't already know, there is a very disproportionate amount of male trees in nearly all urban areas due to irresponsible city planning. This causes pollen spikes which lead to respiratory issues, fewer fruit baring trees, and an all together unbalanced ecosystem. My Eco-Mission aims to combat this issue. [ok now back to design]

       I studied at Lehigh University from 2019-'23 and majored in design with a concentration in product design. This program taught primarily industrial design and manufacturing techniques. I love taking my ideas, throwing them into cad, and creating quick prototypes. This process is fun, quick, and has lead to the start of many great projects. That said, what I am really looking for is a team who can benefit from my skills and whose mission resonates within me.
