Approximately 250 weeping willow tree trimmings went into creating this broom. They were later stitched together using copper wire to hold it's shape.

The kickstand was created with three bent metal pie. The arcs and rings were slip rolled and welded. The thickest ring was modified to create a riveted hinge for the kickstand

A method of faux brazing was used to create a golden finish directly onto the steel.

My futurist design was inspired by how the actors reacted to the latest quidditch broom on film.

I created my own particle filtration system with the motor compartment sealed off with a fine mesh filter and a plastic grid keeping it in place. Air passes through and works in conjunction with a filter bag and nozzle attached to the hose itself to filter coarse and fine dust.

Assembly (left to right): universal-joint adapter, structural u-joint, base adapter with flexible hose attached, nozzle dust cap, extension plate, roll brush, axle, bushing, wheel, bearing, axle hub side cap, filter bag, acrylic roller shield, aesthetic crescent cap, acrylic dome, toe cap.
